“Research Uncorked” is a monthly speaker series we host at Ironhand Winebar in South Bend that features informal talks by leading scholars and scientists from the university. In February, we’re pleased to welcome Thomas Juliano, assistant professor in the Department of Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering.

Professor Juliano’s presentation is titled “The Need for Speed: The Hypersonic Future of Flight” and will focus on his work building the nation's largest “quiet” Mach 6 wind tunnel as well as the quest to develop aircraft that can fly at more than five times the speed of sound. Join us for a stimulating conversation with happy hour pricing during the event!
